Shapes- there are two types of shapes (see the definitions below)
The student's need to use their right brain to be successful in drawing realistically. This exercise is intended to show the student and teach them that if you draw the shapes of the spaces (negative Space) that the positive object will appear.
This is called "It is NOT a chair" because the student needs to see the negative space and the object as just shapes and lines.

Organic Shapes-shapes with no particular name, curvy, and non specific shapes
Geometric shapes- shapes with specific names. Examples are circle, square, and triangles.
