Movement can be shown in a painting using many different Elements of Art. Shape, line, color, value, and texture. Artists do not always want a view to just glance at their work and then walk away, they want to engage the viewer in their work. Your goal in this work is to lead the viewer to a focal point in your work using elements by creating visual movement. You may choose the means in which you decide to do that. You must first come up with a drawing in your sketchbook that will show your final painting (you may label your color plan). Do not take the easy way out, arrows are not allowed, that is too obvious!!!!! Be creative in your composition! LET'S MOVE IT!
