Seeing Space and Shapes
Using shapes to show space
Showing space is a review of what you learned in Art 1 or Painting
Let's Review what we have already used to show space
-converging lines
-color change
-value change
-size change
-overlapping
-atmospheric changes (texture, line blurring, loss of crispness)
What we will look at further:
open space between object are shapes (organic or geometric) that are empty (or frame in a background).
You will be looking at a chair to draw first and you are going to train your right brain to work harder than your left...WHAT?!
This means you will not picture it as a chair...it's not for today...it's lines and shapes that you will draw on a surface!
