Ways to show Space:
1. Overlap object (you will be able to see the entire front view of the closest objects)
2. Changing size of the objects, larger=closer (this typically is only used for perspective drawings...more information in the near future)
3. More details = closer, details and textures lose crispness as they appear farther back in space (also if in a shadow)
4. Values- there are a larger range of values the closer the objects are; as objects appear further back in the composition the values somewhat blend together.
You will be drawing two different sketches with some loose value added. The two drawings will be from two different places in the room. If you do not like an object that is in your view move to another seat.
You will choose which spot you like better and move to that seat. If you and another person are trying to sit in the same place come to a civil agreement on your own (or I will intervene).
ONLY DRAW WHAT YOU SEE!!!
