Welcome to the most intense, but most rewarding, of the hand building techniques.
Here are the steps as well as the notes for the process.
Flat slab base. NO THICKER THAN 1/2"
Roll all the coils you will need for that day.
Make spirals first and smooth the inside before attaching.
Each day, each coil must be smoothed on that day.
Add coils and smooth the inside before the end of class.
When you have met OR exceeded the height and width requirements you may put it on the "drying green ware shelf"
Glaze with your chosen two colors, one inside and one outside. Do not mix the glazes they are not paints! Neatness counts!
